Lochana Perera is an Australian analytical chemist and entrepreneur with experience in analytical chemistry, food safety testing, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
He has worked across food product analysis,pharmaceutical feasibility research, and fertiliser development. Previously, he served as a Food Technologist at the Industrial Technology Institute in Colombo and as a Research Scientist at the Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology, contributing to method development, quality testing, multidisciplinary research, and intern supervision.
He is also the Founder and Managing Director of Domestica Hobart, a short-term accommodation management business in Tasmania, where he has built operational systems and quality assurance processes since 2018.
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Analytical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Food Science & Technology from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura.
